Giuliani Sued by Former Lawyer for Unpaid Fees
Former Trump Attorney Targeted for Alleged $1.36 Million Debt
Davidoff Hutcher Citron LLP Alleges Giuliani Failed to Compensate Legal Services
In a lawsuit filed Monday, Robert Costello and his firm, Davidoff Hutcher Citron LLP, allege that former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani has failed to pay $1.36 million for legal services rendered.
Costello, who previously led Giuliani's effort to obtain local counsel before a special purpose grand jury, claims that Giuliani has only paid $214,000. The lawsuit alleges that Giuliani's repeated promises to settle the debt have gone unfulfilled.
On Tuesday, Hunter Biden also filed a lawsuit against Giuliani, alleging that the former New York mayor had spread false and defamatory statements about his son.
